Interviewing

While I enjoy working collaboratively with a team, there is something I’ve always enjoyed about interviews. They are focused, one-on-one opportunities to ask the questions you want, and help build a powerful narrative.

I worked behind-the-scenes as the interviewer in Kintec’s #MyKintecStory series. I wrote interview questions, coordinated film times with subjects, and conducted the interviews. This series puts the spotlight on Kintec team members or customers, and why Kintec is special to them.

In October 2015, I was fortunate enough to meet Col. Chris Hadfield in Dawson Creek, BC, ahead of an event that evening. I was joined for a press conference with other members of the local media, and we were allowed to ask two questions – which I spent a lot of time thinking about.

WEB / PRINT

I have had the opportunity to meet some incredible people and ask them more about their lives. The majority of those interviews have appeared as print pieces, including these pieces from The Huffington Post and Energetic City.
